At Investor Days Porto, Âmago presented the energy performance contract at the Pestana Viking, where energy costs are coming down by more than 50%.
Âmago took part in Investor Days Porto, where it presented one of its success stories in energy performance contracts: the Pestana Viking Hotel, where energy costs are coming down by more than 50%. The refurbishment of the heating, cooling, domestic hot water and building management systems was entirely designed, engineered and installed by Âmago, which also runs the hotel’s maintenance, operation and energy management.
The technical innovations, with several heat recovery stages, make it possible to produce all the domestic hot water with the heat that the air conditioning would normally throw away — so much so that the boilers no longer need to run.
