Portugal 2020: Innovation Voucher
With ERDF support, Âmago carried out a benchmarking analysis and reorganised its management processes, with a control system based on KPIs.
Under Portugal 2020, the partnership agreement between Portugal and the European Commission, Âmago submitted an application to the Algarve Regional Operational Programme, supported by the ERDF, for the Innovation Voucher project “Benchmarking Analysis and Reorganisation of Âmago’s Management Processes”, which was approved.
The project consisted of carrying out a benchmarking analysis and reorganising the management processes, to guide the company’s strategy and achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness in its operational and strategic activities — strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The work carried out with the Portugal 2020 incentive was:
- Strategic analysis
- Research into good management control practice
- Identification and description of the organisation’s processes
- Reorganisation of the processes
- Design of management control instruments and tools
- Implementation of a management control system based on key performance indicators (KPIs)
By the end of the project, Âmago had strengthened its means of monitoring its main strategic objectives and improved the reliability and timeliness of internal and external information, with a focus on client satisfaction, securing the operational means to drive its energy efficiency projects.
The ERDF incentive was a 75% rate on eligible expenditure, calculated under Article 50 of the RECI.
